The Midlothian Community Safety and Justice Partnership have received recognition in the Scottish Parliament today in a motion raised by Scottish Conservatives MSP Jeremy Balfour, for securing £3,701 in Big Lottery Funding. This group promotes community safety in Midlothian and its Big Lottery Funding will be used to stage a community safety event and a Family Fun Day in Dalkeith Country Park.
“I welcome the news that the Midlothian Community Safety & Justice Partnership have been awarded this funding to help continue to make our local community safer. They provide a valuable service in helping prevent and reduce crime and engaging with residents in Midlothian. I look forward to hearing more about their plans for a Family Fun Day in the near future.”
